Jeffrey S. Wascher, D.D.S.
Dr. Jeffrey Wascher is co-owner of our office along with Dr. Jackson. He is a 1989 graduate of Loyola University School of Dentistry, where he earned the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Achievement Award, the Oral Surgery Clinical Honors Award, and served on the faculty in endodontics and anesthesia. He joined this practice in 1990 after completing a general practice dental residency at Michael Reese Hospital.
Included in his professional memberships are the L.D. Pankey Alumni Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the Academy of Sports Dentistry.
Dr. Wascher lives in his hometown of Downers Grove with his wife and two sons.
Eric G. Jackson, D.D.S.
Dr. Eric Jackson became co-owner of our office with Dr. Wascher in June of 2009. He was raised in Oak Brook and attended Hinsdale Central High School where he was a member of the boys tennis team as well as the basketball team that made the downstate tournament in 1996 and 1997. After graduating high school in 1997, he completed his undergraduate collegiate training at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2001 and his dental training at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago in 2005. Dr. Jackson was awarded the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology award prior to graduation.
Dr. Jackson has a passion for dental implants and dental implant surgery. He has surgically placed over 1600 dental implants and restored many more. His surgical skill extends beyond implants to include bone and sinus grafting as well as minor periodontal surgical procedures. We can’t wait to offer his many skills to patients within our practice.
Dr. Jackson is a firm believer in the importance of continuing dental education and takes numerous courses to further his skill. Since graduating dental school, he has amassed over 850 hours of continuing education and will be awarded fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry this Summer at the annual meeting in New Orleans. Dr. Jackson has been named as one of "America's Top Dentists" by the Consumer Research Council of America for both 2007 and 2010. On multiple occasions, Dr. Jackson has been asked to lecture at various Chicagoland dental study clubs and meetings on a variety of surgical and cosmetic dental topics. In addition to implant and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Jackson is trained in Invisalign orthodontic therapy which will now be offered within our practice. He is also trained in snoring & sleep apnea dental appliances.
Dr. Jackson is an active member in multiple professional societies including the American Dental Association, The Illinois State Dental Society, The Chicago Dental Society, The Academy of General Dentistry, The Illinois Academy of General Dentistry, and The American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Jackson has a love for dentistry in his blood. During the period between the 1940’s through the 1960’s, Dr. Jackson’s great-grandfather owned and operated Modern Dental Laboratory located at 63rd and Halsted in Chicago. Dr. Jackson’s father is a practicing orthodontist near Midway Airport in Chicago. In addition to private practice, his father is a clinical assistant professor in the Orthodontic Department at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry.
When Dr. Jackson has free time, he enjoys spending it with his wife Lauren and daughters Sophia & Gabriella. Lauren is an elementary school teacher in Berwyn and recently received her second masters degree in education. The Jacksons recently welcomed Gabriella into the world March 14, 2010 and big sister Sophia couldn't be happier! The Jackson’s Yorkshire Terrier has also graciously made room for baby Gabriella and loves her very much.
Patrick M. O’Flaherty, D.D.S.
Dr. O'Flaherty was Valedictorian, Summa Cum Laude, of the 1978 class of Loyola University School of Dentistry, where he earned numerous honors and awards, and served on the faculty for many years. He established this practice in 1980 after completing a general practice dental residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics.
His dedication to continuing his education has earned him a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry as well as membership as an alumnus of the Pankey Institute of Advanced Dental Education.
Included in his professional memberships are the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, Craniofacial Pain Center Association, American Equilibration Society, and the L.D. Pankey Study Club.
His community service includes Presidents of 99 PLUS Education Foundation, Rotary Club and St. Joseph Religious Educational Board, Chamber of Commerce Board member, PACES Board of Consultants and YMCA basketball coach.
Dr. O'Flaherty grew up in Downers Grove, and lives there with his wife and two sons.
